  • I am a Consultant Solicitor with 9 years experience in Family Law and I am the Head of the Scott-Moncrieff & Associates Ltd Nottingham branch office based in West Bridgford Nottingham. I am committed to both private and Legal Aid work and I specialise on matters such as divorce, child contact, child residence, domestic abuse injunctions, financial settlements, cohabitation and change of name deeds. I am currently a member of Resolution and the Association of Asian Women’s Lawyers (AAWL). I was previously the Secretary of the Women’s Aid Management Committee and I continue to work closely with Women’s Aid. I have dealt with many cases involving domestic abuse, which includes physical, emotional, psychological, sexual and financial control. I have helped such victims to apply for protective injunction known and Orders to enable them to continue living in a martial or family home. In such situations there can be concerns about children having contact with the abusive parent and I can advise you on this. In addition to this, I have experience in dealing with divorces where one party is residing abroad or where it is difficult to locate their whereabouts as you have simply lost touch. There may be situations where a survivor of domestic abuse has fled their marital home and is no longer in touch with their spouse, but wish to start divorce proceedings. I can help to start divorce proceedings and file all the necessary court documentation to ensure that a divorce is granted, enabling the person to move on with their lives. I also have considerable experience in dealing with children matters which may involve contact or residence disputes with an ex partner. I have represented fathers, mothers and grandparents seeking greater access to their children/grandchildren or where there are concerns with the current contact arrangements. Please do not hesitate to contact me on 0115 9232193 or or visit
