I am a Partner in the Family team at Mowbray Woodwards in Bath. I work within the geographical area of Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. I specialise in all aspects of children work including child protection work and in particular, local authority applications to court in relation to chidlren ar risk of harm representing parents, and other relevant individuals (grandparents, foster carers, prospective adopters). As a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2011 I am also able to represent children in both public and private law proceedings either directly or on their behalf through a court appointed guardian. I act on a regular basis for CAFCASS and agency guardians. I have particular experience acting for teenagers in secure accommodation. I am a member of the Law Society and Resolution. I have been accredited by Resolution with particular specialisms in Children Law -Private and Adoption. I sit on Resolution's Children Committee. I am also a member of the Wiltshire Family Justice Board and sit on the training sub-committee. I presented at the WFJB annual conference in 2015. I enjoy the pursuit of knowledge and hold a Masters in International Relations (2004) and a Masters in Public Law (2013). I taught Family Law on the LLB undergraduate degree course at the University of Bristol during the academic year 2013-2014. I have been published in the Family Law Journal and on Family Law Week.
