  • I specialise in all areas of employment law supporting and helping both businesses and individuals with ever growing and changing minefield of HR and employment law. I am passionate about this area of law and ensuring that my clients are provided with clear, realistic and pragmatic advice at a reasonable cost and at an early stage. It is essential that businesses seek advice and support as soon as an issue arises within the workplace to ensure that the correct process and policy is adopted and adhered to at an early stage. This will limit the possibility of an employee bringing costly Tribunal Proceedings against it at a later stage. I am always on hand to deal with any query that may arise, no matter how big or small you may think it is. Sometimes it is good to have an independent sound board. I understand that for employees, there is a reluctance to raise any problems that they may be suffering in the workplace such as bullying or discrimination to their employer, due to fear of persecution. However, employment law protects employees who raise these concerns in good faith. There is always a line of communication with your employer either informally or formally via the grievance procedure and I am more than happy to explain this to you in more detail and give you the help you may need. Settlement Agreements (previously known as Compromise Agreements) can be mutually beneficial to both the employer and the employee. It is important for both parties to understand the use of these agreements and be advised on the specific terms. Employees have to ensure that these agreements are signed by an appropriately qualified person to ensure that the agreement is legally binding. If you are having problems at work, or if the changes to Employment Law are causing you and your business nothing but confusion, please do not hesitate to give me a call I will be more than happy to assist.
